of measurement. The capital of Russia is Moscow and it is located in the western part of Russia. As you can see
the country of russia covers a very large area. It looks like it is bordered by eleven countries,two oceans and the Bering Sea.
This map shows that most of the population is located in the western part of the country,probably because the eastern of Russia is

By looking at the scale you can see that Russia is a very large country, over 300 miles from east to west.
